Expanding TeBe Photographs to the captured moments of outer space. A space section to the website is officially coming soon. This coming of the cosmos is brought to you by the site's founder's personal interest in astrophysics. (Astrophysics is a branch of astronomy that deals with the physical nature of celestial objects and the application of physics to understand astronomical observations.) The upcoming space section will feature astrophotography (in the meantime view album below), topics of interest, related space news, infographics, and more. Stay tune for the next few space blogs as they will focus on topics of interests from the moon to the sun to stars and beyond. The cosmos is the final frontier and it is unlimited to what can be uncovered from extrasolar planets (exoplanets) to supermassive black holes to galaxies in the farthest reaches of our universe. Even topics such as the possibility of life elsewhere will be explored. As the Voyager 1 spacecraft (launched in 1977 and still functional) turned back its camera one last time, in 1990, to take the Earth (about 6 billion km away) known as the "Pale Blue Dot," we see that we are a tiny piece of this vast universe. Voyager 1, along with 2, voyages to the stars for eternity. Whenever looking up at the night sky, we see countless captured moments in history since light takes time from the sources (stars, nebulae, galaxies, etc.) to reach Earth.
Let's unravel the great unknown...
